An important innovation in high school and early college education has reached a small number of Colorado schools. We will talk with Stan Litow, IBM Vice President of Corporate Citizenship and Corporate Affairs, about the P-Tech schools emerging in the Saint Vrain School District. Partners in Technology Early College/ High School programs provide students with a six-year program to earn their high school diploma and concurrently complete an associate degree with the guidance of a mentor from an industry partner like IBM and several other companies participating in Colorado.  

November 2 – Stephanie Veck – Workforce Development  
Stephanie Veck, Director of the Colorado Workforce Development Council, joins us with a focus on Colorado’s talent pipeline. Her guest is Dr. Lauren Victor discussing the 2016 Talent Pipeline Report.

Gang activity and “anti-snitching” culture has had an impact on the justice system, resulting in extreme circumstances to protect witnesses who do come forward. This system has become a national model for other states’ witness protection plans.

Anthony Lambatos shares his unique perspective on running a family business while creating a company culture that works for both employer and employee. He’ll talk with Andrew Graham, President of Clinic Service, about what he’s done to create a great place to work. The Partnership for a New American Economy (PNAE) is launching their Reason for Reform campaign with a national day of action on August 3.
