Carol Carter, Founder and Executive of GlobalMindED, joins us to discuss the power of diverse collaboration that highlights GlobalMindED's African American partners and contributors for Black History Month. We'll discuss how to harness the talents of all people so that everyone can succeed and Denver can set the example as a standard for being innovative, inclusive and collaborative.
Carol will talk with Juana Bordas, president of Mestiza Leadership International and author of Salsa, Soul and Spirit: Leadership for a Multicultural Age, about black leadership and transformation.
We will also talk with students: Christopher Johnson from Metro State University, Lauren Gambas of CU Denver and Troy Seppala from CU Boulder. Each student will discuss his or her background and hopes for the future in terms of being an agent of change and how they can serve as leaders for their generation.
