ADAPT (Alliance for the Development of Additive Processing Technologies) is a consortium of academic, industry and government institutions all focused on the goal of additive manufacturing and the future this technology can help create.
Our guests are Heidi Hostetter, Vice President of Faustson and Industry Chair for the ADAPT center at Colorado School of Mines; and Aaron Stebner, Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science at Colorado School of Mines. They'll explain the advancements that Additive Processing Technologies have offered manufacturing and what ADAPT is doing to make Additive Manufacturing available to business and academia in Colorado and the U.S.
We will also discuss their upcoming open house at the new ADAPT Advanced Characterization Center at Colorado School of Mines (Brown W230, 1610 Illinois St. Golden, CO 80127) on Thursday June 23, 2016 from 5 – 8 pm. They will demonstrate new facilities, provide informal debriefs of our first 6 months of R&D efforts, and answer any questions you may have about ADAPT. It's the first formal outreach event for the center.
