The survey was conducted between February 7 and February 26, 2018. Results reflect renewed CEO optimism and confidence following passage of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, but do not capture effects of President Trump's March 8, 2018, announcement of steel and aluminum tariffs.

Business Roundtable Reaches Beyond The Beltway To Promote Benefits of Trade
The Business Roundtable-backed Trade for America coalition this week launched a national digital media campaign to highlight trade's economic benefits across the United States. The month-long campaign makes the case for the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), stating, "It's Time to Update NAFTA to Promote Job Growth and Competitiveness." Business Roundtable joined the American Farm Bureau Foundation, National Association of Manufacturers and U.S. Chamber of Commerce to launch Trade for America in January.
