As 2017 draws to a close, it is time for WGA's annual Top Ten Hit Parade of accomplishments, projects, and activities of Western Governors for the past year. The major problem with such a limited list is that it necessarily fails to articulate or even suggest the full range of the Governor's monumental success. Nevertheless, we love a good challenge at WGA, so here it goes. 

In the next few years, developers will add 236 residential units and 370 hotel rooms to the tony shopping district. That means higher rents and parking headaches. 

Colorado employers are adding a lot of new jobs these days. But which ones are most in demand?

The Colorado Department of Labor and Employment has broken down the top 10 occupations by the number of online jobs ads to fill each type of job. 

2018 marks the 10th Anniversary of Colorado Companies To Watch (CCTW) and we will be giving out the 500th award at the Gala in June. The program will take qualifying companies through a rigorous and objective selection process in order to recognize the 50 Colorado Companies To Watch for 2018. 

To be considered, the company must meet the following criteria during the year ending in 2017. 
  1. Be headquartered in the state of Colorado
  2. For profit
  3. Past startup phase and have $750k - $50 million in revenue or working capital
  4. Employ between 6 to 99 full time equivalent W-2 employees, including the owner
  5. Demonstrate the intent, capacity and potential to grow
Nominations are set to close on January 31st. 

Arrow Electronics Inc. said it's buying eInfochips, a product engineering and software services company, which has headquarters in San Jose and Ahmedabad, India. 

The Centennial-based global distributor of electronics components and computer systems didn't disclose the purchase price, but the Economic Times in India reported the purchase price was Rs 1,800 crore, or $281,790,000.
