Stop Scams - Aaron Harber TV Town Hall Event Series

8:00 am on Thursday, May 2nd

Westin Denver Downtown

1672 Lawrence Street, Denver, CO 80202

This is our launch event to which everyone is invited to hear about plans regarding our broadcast series and Town Hall events for our major, nonpartisan public service initiative seeking to protect citizens from the explosion of scams perpetrated by those preying on our most vulnerable citizens.  For more information, please direct people to HarberTV.com/StopScams.

A complimentary breakfast will be served to attendees and, after a short announcement explaining some of the details and comments by some of our special guests, there will be time for a Q & A.  Your members’ suggestions regarding the topics we should cover are welcome both now and after the event.

We’re excited about the coalition of Colorado leaders who are providing the expertise for the series and offering direct assistance to Coloradans in need --- --- representing the first time in Colorado’s history such a group has been organized in support of a television series.  Here are a couple of quotes from two of our key partners.

Phil Weiser stated, “As Attorney General, I am committed to protecting Colorado’s consumers and getting the word out so consumers can better protect themselves from scams and deceptive practices.  Thanks, Aaron Harber, for stepping up to help do just that.

U.S. Attorney Jason Dunn said, “Coloradans are far too often victims of financial crimes. This program will help them learn about common scams and how to protect themselves moving forward.  In addition, viewers will learn that the U.S. Attorney’s Office has a number of tools available to identify and prosecute these fraudsters.  Together we can educate viewers to be cautious of easy money schemes and let them know we are here to help them.

While the breakfast is free, all attendees must register by email.  Just tell everyone to use the RSVP email address ([email protected]) and include the names & email addresses of any guests accompanying them.  Everyone is welcome.
