Footers Catering was awarded the “ACE" award at the Catersource National Catering Conference in Las Vegas on March 15th, 2016. The annual Catersource Achievement in Catering Excellence (ACE) Award recognizes companies that have shown noteworthy achievement in the catering industry through culinary, business, community and professional development.
Each year, winners are chosen to represent the best of the best in each of these three geographic regions: East, West and International. These regions are broken down into two revenue segments: Annual revenue up to $2 million and greater than $2 million. Footers Catering won the award for best in the western region over $2 million.
Footers Catering was founded in 1981 by Jimmy Lambatos. In 2010, Jimmy’s son, Anthony, and Anthony’s wife, April, purchased the business and made the transition to a second-generation family business. Their passion for amazing events and an unprecedented company culture in their industry has elevated the Footers tradition to become a top business in Denver. Footers caters more than 700 events and feeds more than 100,000 guests each year in the Denver Metro Area and Mountain Regions.
