September 19: Lockheed Martin and CU-Boulder's $3 Million Partnership
Lockheed Martin and the University of Colorado at Boulder have announced a multi-million dollar partnership to establish new academic programs at CU to develop the next generation of space engineers. We’ll talk with professors from CU about the programs and the incredible relationship with Lockheed Martin as a partner in research and as an employer. 

September 20: Stephanie Veck, Colorado Workforce Development Council
Stephanie Veck with the Colorado Workforce Development Council joins us with a focus on the incredible momentum that work-based learning is building in Colorado, across the country and globally. The show's guest is Noel Ginsberg, founder and CEO of Intertech Plastics, a Denver-based advanced manufacturing company, who was appointed by Governor Hickenlooper to chair his Business Experiential-Learning Commission. Noel’s vision and leadership has lead to the creation of CareerWise Colorado, the first statewide Youth Apprenticeship Initiative in the U.S.  

CareerWise Colorado officially launched on September 14, 2016 with an announcement of $9.5 million in foundation support from Bloomberg Philanthropies, JP Morgan Chase, the Walton Family Foundation, the Daniels Fund and the Colorado Workforce Development Council. Our show will focus on the work of the BEL Commission and CareerWise Colorado and how youth apprenticeships are the solution to an economically vital Colorado and world. 

September 21: Anthony Lambatos, Footers Catering  
Anthony Lambatos shares his experience running a second-generation business and his perspective on company culture. His guest will be Sara Van Rensverg from Colorado Thought Leaders Forum.  
 
September 22: Eric Sondermann, Secure Futures Colorado
Eric Sondermann with Secure Futures Colorado joins us to discuss the challenges of reworking Colorado PERA, our state’s Public Employee’s Retirement Association. Concerns that the current model is unsustainable in the long-term course which threatens insolvency in the near future.

September 23: Jesse Hassinger, Let Colorado Vote  
Jesse Hassinger with Let Colorado Vote joins us with guests John Hereford of Oakleaf Energy Partners and Don Childears of the Colorado Bankers Association to discuss the Let Colorado Vote initiative asking Coloradans to increase voter participation by restoring a presidential primary and opening all elections to the state’s 1.3 million independent voters.
