What book have you given or recommended the most?
As a full-time missionary in Alaska for 18 months, I shared The Book of Mormon on a daily basis.

If you could do another job for just one day, what would it be?
Full-time granddad. 

How would you describe your leadership style?
Collaborative with risk-taking.  As I told someone, I don’t drive to Denver every day to do nothing.

What are some industry trends that have an impact on your role as a leader?
Our office leads in providing digital filing and access to information.

Biography

Wayne Williams was elected Colorado’s 38th secretary of state in 2014 with more votes than any other SoS candidate in state history. He is committed to the vision of ensuring fair, honest, and open elections as well as making Colorado the friendliest state in the country for businesses and non-profits.

Prior to his election as secretary of state, Williams served as clerk and recorder of El Paso County, and two terms as a county commissioner.

He lives in Colorado Springs with his wife Holly. They have four children.
