Since 1962 the Downtown Denver Annual Awards Dinner has celebrated businesses, organizations, events and projects that have made significant contributions toward creating a unique, vibrant and diverse Downtown environment, and have made a lasting, positive impact on Downtown Denver. This black tie event is attended by more than 1,000 of the city’s business and civic leaders.

Each year, a new selection of Downtown Denver Awards Jury members meet for two months to research, discuss and weigh the merits of all nominations for the Downtown Denver Awards. Interviews, site visits and final presentations are required of all committee members. The nominations selected by the jury are then honored at the Downtown Denver Annual Awards Dinner.
