The World Trade Center Denver is pleased to announce our keynote speaker for this year's World Trade Day conference - "Containers to the Cloud: Trade as Goods, Services and Knowledge" - taking place at the Colorado Convention Center on May 16. Dr. Noah Raford, Chief Operating Officer of the Dubai Future Foundation and a former adviser on futures, foresight and innovation in the United Arab Emirates' Prime Minister's Office will share his experiences and future initiatives during our 44th annual World Trade Day program. Noah helped establish the country's first national foresight unit, helped create the Dubai Future's Foundation and the Museum of the Future and is part of a team that identifies emerging opportunities for the Government of Dubai.
Originally from Colorado, Dr. Raford met the World Trade Center team and other local leaders during a recent economic development mission to the UAE and will lead an exciting discussion that ties in his futuristic thinking, diverse background and experiences with the World Economic Forum to highlight the value of sharing ideas and knowledge across borders.
